During the history of the town of Strong, there have been two post offices.
Briefly, the history of these six is as follows:
1. Porter’s Mills post office opened on 21 January 1828 and was renamed on 19 March 1831 as Strong (2) post office, which is still in operation.
2. Strong (1) post office opened on 14 January 1819 and closed on 19 October 1829.
