1933 May 12:
   This cover from 1933 bore the one-word name "Ashpoint". Compare with the later (1939) postmark below with the two-word name "Ash Point". Research is needed to determine if an official name change occurred or whether there was a period of time during which both spellings were used. The circular postmark is 31–32 mm in diameter. The horizontal bars to the right of the circle are just over 4 mm apart on center.
      

1939 September 26:
   This cover from 1939 bore the two-word name "Ash Point". Compare with the earlier (1933) postmark above with the one-word name "Ashpoint". Research is needed to determine if an official name change occurred or whether there was a period of time during which both spellings were used. The circular postmark is approximately 32 mm in diameter. The horizontal bars to the right of the circle are approximately 6 mm apart on center.
