During the history of the town of Bewburgh, there have been seven post offices.
Briefly, the history of these seven is as follows:
1. Arnold post office opened on 31 March 1881 and closed on 29 February 1904.
2. Newburg post office opened on 8 January 1820 and closed on 31 August 1905.
3. Newburg Center post office opened on 7 November 1853 and closed on 31 August 1905.
4. Newburg Villge post office opened on 14 March 1876 and closed on 31 August 1905.
5. North Newburg post office opened on 21 June 1839, closed on 20 December 1855, re-opened on 23 August 1856, closed on 28 July 1858, re-opened on 4 February 1862, and closed on 13 February 1904.
6. South Newburg post office, a private office, opened on 21 April 1834 and closed on 31 August 1905.
7. West Newburg post office opened on 5 September 1854, closed on 8 December 1855, re-opened on 2 February 1870, and closed on 7 July 1870.
