During the history of the town of Bowerbank. there has been been only one post office.

Briefly, the history of this post office is as follows:
1. Bowerbank post office opened on 29 July 1843, closed on 26 June 1860, re-opened 20 July 1898, closed on 30 September 1913, and re-opened on 7 August 1915. On 1 February 1963, it was renamed as Bowerbank Rur. Sta. Sebec, which closed on 15 November 1870.
