1937 March 10:
   The circular postmark is 32–33 mm in diameter. The four horizontal bars to the right of the circle are approximately 6 mm on center.
      

1940 April 25:
   The circular postmark is approximately 36 mm in diameter. The outside vertical height of the four horizontal bars to the right of the circle is approximately 21 mm.
      

1948 November 9 through 1949 December 17:
   The circular postmark is 29–31 mm in diameter.
         

1966 October 31:

1968 August 22:
   The circular postmark is 31–32 mm in diameter. The outside vertical height of the four horizontal bars to the right of the circle is approximately 18 mm.
      

1968 August 22:
   The outer circle of the postmark is 28–30 mm in diameter; the inner, approximately 18 mm.
      

2006 February 4:
   The circular postmark is approximately 30 mm in diameter. The outside vertical height of the four horizontal bars to the right of the circle is approximately 16 mm.

   Islesboro post office remains in operation.
