During the history of Saco, there have been four post offices.

Briefly, the history of these four is as follows:
1. Bayview post office opened on 15 April 1880 and closed on 31 August 1918.
2. Biddeford Saco Carrier Annex ioen in September 1996 and is still operating.
3. The former Biddeford post office moved in 1802 to Pepperellborough [now Saco] and was renamed as Pepperellborough, which on 22 March 1805 became Saco post office, which is still operating,
4. Saco Carrier Annex opened on [?] and closed on [?].

In 1914, there were two post offices in Saco: Bay View and Saco. (source: Post Route Map of the State of Maine 1914)
