The Post Offices of Maine: Downloads These files, developed by members of the Maine Philatelic Society, are presented for online consultation and for free downloading. We hope that you will feel free to enjoy, copy, adapt, revise, transform, build upon -- and share -- the information presented here. There is no charge for downloading these files, but if you are not a member of the Maine Philatelic Society, please consider joining us. The following files were all drawn from the database that appeared in printed form in the book, The Post Offices of Maine -- 2022. This content is continuing to be maintained and updated by the editors of the book. Please get in touch if you have questions, or information to share. When following any of the links to PDF files, your device will probably go ahead and open the file in your browser, or Adobe Acrobat, or some other software program that you have designated to work with PDF files. Once the file has been opened, you should have the option to download it and save it to your device. We have found that viewing and printing often works best via the free Adobe Acrobat Reader program, but sometimes browser software works well too. Before you print the whole document, try printing just two or three pages to make sure you are getting the results you want. Note that most of the files of tabular data are designed to print in landscape mode (i.e. horizontally) rather than portrait mode (vertically). It is sorted according to name of the post office, then the date opened. This is presented as a PDF file that is designed to be printed in landscape orientation.
